Course OverviewObjective: Certifies technicians to safely sample roadway soils, take density readings, and correctly record findings using FDOT Density Data Forms.Duration: 1.5 days. Attendance is encouraged but technically not mandatory if you want to take the challenge exam.Topics Covered: Nuclear gauge calibration and testing, moisture-density relationships, and using the calcium carbide pressure tester.
